CBC Playgroup Level:

The Playgroup stage in the Kenyan Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) focuses on early childhood development through play-based learning. At this stage, children build essential skills in a fun and supportive environment. Key features of this stage include:

  • Social, Emotional, and Cognitive Development: Children develop foundational skills that support growth in all areas.

  •  Must provide a Copy of Birth Certificate on admission
  •  Other requirements as stipulated on the admission form

CBC Pre-School Level:

In the Kenyan Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), Pre-Primary 1 (PP1) and Pre-Primary 2 (PP2) are the first two years of pre-primary education, designed for children aged four and five. These early learning years are critical in setting the foundation for formal education and supporting overall child development.

CBC Primary School Level (Grades 1-6)

The Primary level in the Kenyan Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) spans Grades 1 to 6. Lower Primary (Grades 1-3)

Admission Requirements

  • A Learner must have attained the required age of years and above
  •  Successfully completed the pre-school education
  •  Can read and write and do basic mathematics
  •  Can converse in English or Kiswahili
  •  Successfully pass Admission Interview Assessment
  •  Provide Copy of Birth certificate
  •  Report card from the previous school
  •  Has purchased the required sets of school uniform and stationery

CBC Junior School Level (Grades 7-8)

The Junior School phase, covering Grades 7 and 8, is an important stage in the 12-year basic education cycle. The CBC curriculum focuses on both academic and practical skills, preparing students for further education or the workforce. The emphasis is on continuous assessment, helping students grow through regular feedback and support.
