Checkmate, history made!
St. Antony’s School, Kiambu proudly celebrates a historic achievement—six of our top chess champions have officially been selected to join Team Kenya 🇰🇪 for the 2025 African Schools Individual Chess Championships, set to take place from 22nd to 29th May 2025 at PrideInn Paradise Hotel, Mombasa, Kenya.

After a series of gripping matches at the National Championships held at Mang’u High School, our players demonstrated exceptional strategy, concentration, and competitive spirit. Their success not only earned them national recognition but also a golden opportunity to represent Kenya on the continental stage.

🧠💥 These rising chess masters have shown that with grit and guidance, young minds can achieve global greatness.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to:
♟️ Our Chess Champions, for their resilience and brilliance
♟️ Our dedicated coach, for every hour of training and mentorship
♟️ Our supportive parents, for standing behind every move
♟️ Our teachers, for nurturing excellence on and off the board
♟️ And our visionary school leadership, for creating a foundation where talent flourishes
